In Churches Together in Cumbria we work and pray for the unity to which Jesus Christ calls us. We celebrate this unity through our county-wide Declaration of Intent and Companionship Letter.

We are churches working together, sharing resources and information. Find your local Church and discover what God is doing, through the churches, in your community - and join in.

We aim

  • to seek a deepening of  communion with Christ and with one another in the Church, which is his body;

  • to fulfil our mission to proclaim the Gospel by common witness and service in the world, to the glory of the one God: Creator, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • to celebrate the call to unity of Jesus that ‘all may be one’.

Celebrating Together is the annual gathering or Forum of Churches Together in Cumbria to which all are invited. This event is a celebration of all that we are and all that we do together.

The Way is the newspaper of the churches in Cumbria, which is issued three times each year. The Manifesto of The Way outlines the purpose and vision of the newspaper. Copies should be available in all churches, and through your local Churches Together network. The editor is Dave Roberts.
